Tesco Insurance extends claims management partnership with FMG

Tesco Insurance has extended its motor claims management partnership with FMG, to include the wider Zigup businesses in Auxillis and FMG Repair Services delivering an integrated mobility proposition.
The renewal comes on the back of strong operational delivery with positive customer outcomes, record NPS and comprehensive management of supply chains, and will see FMG continue to provide an outsourced motor claims management solution for Tesco Insurance customers.
Partnering since 2022, the businesses have collaborated to develop new and innovative solutions to add to the customer offering; system access for Tesco FNOL handlers provides the provision of real-time repair allocation, whilst the development of FMG Connect, a self-serve digital solution enhancing customer preferences, both add to a seamless claims journey. Furthermore, commitment on the use of green and alternate parts is a great fit with mutual ESG agendas and efficient customer outcomes.
The renewal sees the continued provision of fulfilment of services within the Zigup group, with full mobility solutions provided by Auxillis, FMG Repair Services providing a significant proportion of repair fulfilment, and with added benefit of access to capacity and capability from FMG’s broader, comprehensive external repair partner network too.
Dave Thompson, Claims Director for Tesco Insurance said: "We aim to ensure that all our supplier partners serve Tesco Insurance customers a little better every day. Our renewal with FMG and Auxillis to provide engineering, repair network and mobility services to our customers is based on a strong partnership approach with shared goals and objectives.
Working together for the previous three years, we've demonstrated that our organisations can deliver great customer outcomes and continuous improvement to the Tesco customer experience which aligns with our business strategies. We are excited to continue our partnership with FMG and Auxillis and look forward to delivering upon our ambitious plans moving forward and continuing to serve our customers a little better every day."
Andrew Chandler, Managing Director FMG, said: "I'm delighted by the partnership renewal, which is testament to the result of aligned and effective collaboration, powered by a common agenda – an efficient and seamless customer experience at the heart of our thinking. As a key supply chain partner, we've been proactive in supporting Tesco's claims agenda, reflecting their own high standards throughout the partnership arrangement. Solutionising at speed, being dynamic with our thinking and keeping the lines of communication open and transparent, have driven good customer and commercial outcomes.
A key focus throughout the partnership has been working together to identify how we can improve and enhance the customer experience, which has come full circle as seen in recent months' customer satisfaction scores. Extending our partnership means we can continue to enhance our role in reducing cost exposure whilst providing a first-class claims service to Tesco Insurance customers."
