Wessex Fleet turns to FMG for round the clock driver support

Wessex Fleet has prioritised driver safety by investing in a unique round the clock accident management service which expands out of hours to include breakdown support.

The bespoke solution, provided by incident management expert FMG, includes 24/7/365 first notification of loss, roadside recovery and nationwide repair management to Wessex Fleet’s 1500 managed vehicles. Within the solution, there are a multitude of tailored components to meet the various needs of all Wessex Fleet partner clients.

The service has enabled Wessex Fleet to significantly enhance the level of service provided to its fleet drivers, ensuring they are fully supported in every eventuality and can access all services including tyre and glass replacement, with just one call to FMG at any time of day.

To deliver the out of hours service, FMG works in partnership with a UK-wide network of vehicle repair and recovery operators, fixing all types of stricken vehicles at the roadside. When a roadside repair isn’t possible or safe, FMG arranges the recovery of the vehicle and driver, specific to each fleet’s requirements.
