Incident management and specialist roadside recovery expert FMG is celebrating 10 years of working in partnership with Equine Rescue Service, the UK-wide equestrian transport recovery specialist.

During the decade-long partnership FMG has supported Equine Rescue in securing the welfare of its members and their horses following vehicle breakdowns involving horseboxes, trailers or towing vehicles. FMG’s bespoke 24/7/365 roadside mechanical breakdown and recovery service covers over 20,000 members travelling with horses, ranging from Olympic equestrian medallists to first-time riders.

Debbie Macmorran, Managing Director at Equine Rescue Service said, “An unexpected breakdown when travelling with horses is incredibly stressful for both the animal and the driver, yet through our partnership with FMG we can provide our members with the ultimate peace of mind that with just one call, expert help is quickly at hand. With operational systems integration, a nationwide network of agents and an in-depth understanding of our customer’s unique needs, we can be certain members are cared for at the highest standard and will be back on the road promptly; the feedback we continually receive from members validates this.”

Jim Dawson, Head of Rapid Response at FMG, said: “We are proud to celebrate this significant milestone in our long-standing relationship with Equine Rescue. Together we share a joint commitment to getting thousands of members back on the road every year with a bespoke service which bends and flexes to meet every customer’s distinct and individual needs. We have immersed ourselves in the equine world and honed our solution accordingly. This is collaboration in its truest form, and we take pride in delivering the highest standards of customer service at a very stressful time for all concerned.”
