FMG, a UK leader in the provision of fleet incident management services, today announced it has reached a new milestone in its 33-year history, surpassing 500 employees.

Continuing to build on its recognition as a Sunday Times Top 100 ‘great place to work’, the Bradley based business has seen employment growth of 25% in the past two years, supporting the continued increase in new contracts, retention of customers and development of new innovations. Today’s appointment of HR Assistant Julita Medel takes employee numbers over the 500 mark, placing FMG firmly in the UK’s top 1% of employers according to the ONS.

The company offer extensive solutions in the fleet arena, insurer space, and offer UK-wide roadside repair and recovery services, operating on behalf of Highways England to support multiple facets of traffic flow.

Expressing pride in the environment the company has nurtured Harvey Stead, Managing Director of FMG, explained, “We are delighted to welcome all new starters to FMG, but Julita’s appointment is particularly momentous for the business. I am proud of our sustained and steady growth along with our impressive employee tenure; more than 40% of our employees have 10 years or more service with us, something that I believe is rare in this day and age. FMG has grown from 403 employees in June 2017, to 501 in June 2019. The business recently held an Open Day at its Head Office Broad Lea House, to support their present recruitment drive which will continue for the next 3-4 months. Over 90 people attended the event with many going on to formally apply for roles.

FMG works with major private and public sector fleets, leading leasing companies and major fleet insurers, to streamline the incident management process. Through the use of quality assured systems, adhering to professional ISO accreditations, FMG manages the lifecycle of incidents to help reduce their frequency and impact. When incidents do occur, FMG’s approved network of high quality vehicle repairers carry out repairs to BS-10125, the technical quality standard for the process of vehicle body repair.
